Clarity emits a laser beam that travels through the skin and is tracked to the pigment in the hair. The energy then flows to the hair follicle growth cells to inhibit further hair growth.

All hair removal lasers work by targeting the pigment within the follicles, which means the darker your hair, the easier it will be to treat. However, Clarity has two wavelengths and a proprietary technology that can result in quicker and more effective treatments for all skin tones!

Most patients experience a mild “snapping” on the skin as the laser is moved over the treatment area. The sensation largely depends on their individual skin type, sensitivity, and the specific area undergoing treatment. You may see some hair reduction from your first treatment. However, hair grows in cycles, which requires several treatments to effectively remove unwanted hair growth. The area to be treated should be shaved 24 hours PRIOR to the appointment. Remove any lotion, deodorant or make up prior to your appointment. No waxing or plucking 2-4 weeks prior to your laser appointment, no self-tanners 2-3 weeks prior to your appointment.

Wear SPF 50, no gym, sauna or any activities that promote sweating up to 24 hours after your procedure. Stay out of the sun 2 weeks before or after your laser appointment (meaning NO rigorous tanning).
