The CO2 Fractional Laser treatment at H Gracefully Laser & Aesthetics begins with a thorough double cleansing process, ensuring your skin is impeccably clean and prepared for the procedure. The laser handpiece is manoeuvred over the targeted areas of the skin. The laser emits fractional beams that penetrate the skin in a controlled manner. The fractional pattern means that only a fraction of the skin’s surface is treated, leaving surrounding areas untouched. This promotes faster healing and reduces downtime. As the applicator delivers energy in tiny bursts, you will feel a heated prickling sensation and hear a sound that resembles radio static. Following the completion of the treatment, your skincare specialist will administer healing-promoting serums and apply a soothing cooling mask to the treated area.
Maximum results are obtained with a series of treatments in addition to following a home care regime suggested by your skincare specialist.
We recommend anywhere between 3-8 series of treatments performed between 1-4 weeks apart. Most clients notice a difference after the first session, for optimal results we suggest a series of 8 treatments. Number of treatments needed will vary from client to client.
– May experience mild redness and swelling immediately after the procedure. This is a normal response and usually subsides within a few days
– Itching and peeling, as the skin heals, itching and peeling may occur. It’s crucial to avoid scratching to prevent complications.
– Dryness, the treated skin may become dry, and some individuals may experience temporary flakiness or roughness
– Discomfort or pain, mild discomfort or a burning sensation during and after the procedure is common.
Treatment can take as little as 20 minutes. The technician runs the Jet Plasma device a few times across the treatment area, client may feel slightly warm in some places, typically the upper and under the eyes area.
This treatment involves absolutely no downtime. This can be a standalone treatment or combined with other aesthetic procedures.
Following the treatment, due to your channels in the skin being open, it is important that nothing is applied to the skin for 12 hours other than what your skincare professional puts on your skin.
No makeup can be worn after the treatment for AT LEAST 12 hours.
No exercise, sauna or steam room for AT LEAST 12 hours.
You can resume your regular skincare routine after 12 hours.
